Goring Heath Slater wasn’t the only thing Rhyno got to celebrate. The WWE star won the Republican primary in the 15th district with 38% of the vote, beating opponents Paul Sophia and Richard Johnson.
Rhyno, who did last-minute campaigning on Tuesday before flying to Nashville for SmackDown, goes on to face Democrat Abdullah Hammoud who also captured 38% of the vote in his primary. Hammoud was facing five opponents. The election will take place on November 8th.
