UPDATE: According to Prowrestlingsheet.com, Aries’ eye was busted opened and he needed stitches. The good news is that sources tell the site that he was not seriously injured.
ORIGINAL: Austin Aries was injured at Wednesday night’s NXT live event in Fresno, California. During his match with Shinsuke Nakamura, Nakamura hit a kick to the head and Aries went down holding his face. The match was then stopped but Aries did leave on his own, sporting a black eye. WWE has not given an update on his condition at this time. The following was posted on Twitter from the event…
