Backstage Update – Alberto El Patron’s Stabbing In San Antonio, TX

According to MLW Radio, here are the latest details on Alberto El Patron’s stabbing, which caused him to miss Sunday night’s AAA Heroes Inmortales X event.

AAA was unable to communicate with Patron because he lost his phone after the attack. Patron was able to make contact with them on Monday morning, he apologized and the company is backing his story. Patron wanted to try and make the show by chartering a flight but was talked out of because he was still at the hospital. The two are on good terms still.

The attack happened in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday. There was a confrontation after a driver ran into Patron’s car, the two had words over the accident and then as Patron tried to leave to make his flight to Mexico, the man attacked him with a knife. Patron was able to take the man down, and got the knife away from him, but the man got away.

There were witnesses to the attack and they did get his license plate; at this time there’s no word on if he’s been arrested. Police arrived and a report was filed. Patron was taken to the hospital to get stitches, and while he lost a lost a lot of blood, he is doing ok.
