WWE is considering the possibility of cutting back on the number of PPVs in 2017. According to sources, the decline in WWE Network subscription numbers in September despite an additional PPV has the company looking at the possibility.
Plans have yet to be finalized, but the “last word” is that there will be a few less shows next year. The company will have run fifteen PPVs this year following Roadblock along with five Network-exclusive events.
