Terry “Rhyno” Gerin failed in his big for a Michigan congressional seat tonight. Michigan Live reports that the race has been called for Gerin’s opponent, Abdullah Hammoud. As of this writing Hammoud has 64.4% of the vote to Rhyno’s 35.6%.
Rhyno was seeking to become the first Republican elected in the city of Deaborn in the state house since 1988.
