Kurt Angle Royal Rumble Rumors

Some people have been speculating that Kurt Angle may appear as a surprise entrant at the Royal Rumble this year, but according to the Wrestling Observer, there is “nothing to” those rumors as of now and there has been “no discussion” between Kurt Angle and WWE as of today.

However, that could obviously change, so it doesn’t completely rule Angle out. WWE has been known to contact wrestlers for surprise Royal Rumble returns at the last minute, which has lead to them being turned down by some wrestlers in the past, according to Dave Meltzer, since many older guys don’t have time to get into shape.
