On Raw tonight, during a “New Day Talks” segment where the New Day interviewed Big Show, they mentioned that Big Show would be attempting to become a 2 time Andre the Giant Battle Royal winner at WrestleMania. That seems to indicate that he will be in that match and his match against Shaquille O’Neal is probably “officially” off after a back and forth between WWE and Shaq.
Obviously, anything can change, but it seems like WWE may have given up on trying to work out a deal with Shaq.
Big Show won the battle royal in 2015 and there was an angle at last year’s where Shaq showed up and faced off with Big Show.
The only other names officially announced so far are Mojo Rawley and Apollo Crews, with Dolph Ziggler also likely. Braun Strowman also will probably end up in the match and seems like the clear favorite to win it.
