The Hardys were interviewed on “Talking Raw” tonight after Raw and were basically not in “Broken” character at all. Matt did mention, in a regular, low-key voice that the Hardys had been on an “expedition of gold” but that’s pretty much it. Based on the past couple of nights, it seems like they will just be the regular old “Hardy Boyz” but Matt will sometimes make the “Delete” motion with his hand without him or WWE acknowledging it. Pretty disappointing, but a lot of wrestlers choose to not be totally “in character” on the WWE post-shows, so we’ll see where they go on TV, I guess.
WWE could also be “testing the waters” to see how Anthem / Impact reacts. WWE has made references to the gimmick on social media, but their on-air persona has so far not been “Broken.”
