Impact Wrestling Files for Several “Broken” Trademarks

Impact Wrestling filed for trademarks for “Broken Matt,” “Brother Nero,” “Broken Brilliance,” and “Vanguard1” on April 28. You can view them by searching at the United States Patent and Trademark Office website.

Matt Hardy is listed as an applicant for “Broken Matt Hardy.”

It has been rumored that WWE has been trying to work out a deal with Impact Wrestling to be able to use the Broken Hardy characters and that the sides were close to a deal. There’s no indication yet of how these new trademark applications will affect that, if at all.
