WWE seemingly randomly posted a video on their YouTube page touting Shelton Benjamin’s “freakish athleticism.”
There’s no word on WWE signing Benjamin as of now, but it seems like it would be unusual for them to decide to post a video like that if they had no interest or plans on bringing him back. Of course, it could also mean nothing.
Benjamin was set to return to SmackDown last year, but during medical tests before he signed, it was revealed that he would need surgery on his rotator cuff. Last month, he was finally cleared to return to the ring, but said that he is a free agent and never signed with WWE due to his injury. He’s been wrestling independent dates since.
