Twitter user STRIGGA translated NJPW star Shibata’s latest blog and the progress he’s making isn’t looking good, at least as far as an in-ring return goes. He is trying to recover to the point where he gets back in the ring, but the machines he needs aren’t in wide use in Japan and the treatment is taking a massive burden on his body as it sends current to the injured areas. Most of the issue now is in his eyes and he even mentions how he wrestled with a squint at the start of his career because he was seeing double and has had 3 eye surgeries. The full translated update is below and I wish Shibata all the best in hopefully returning to the ring.
