Anthem/Impact Will Debut New “GFW” Championship Belts Soon

Impact Wrestling/GFW/Anthem/TNA has ordered new Global Force Wrestling championship belts that could debut as early as tomorrow’s Slammiversary PPV. Three Impact/GFW unification championship matches are scheduled for the card. It’ll hopefully be clearer what everyone is supposed to call the company after the PPV.

Unification Match for Impact Wrestling Knockouts and GFW Women’s Championships
Rosemary (Impact) vs. Sienna (GFW)

Fatal 4-Way Unification Match for Impact Wrestling World Tag Team and GFW Tag Team Championships
LAX (c) vs. Drago and El Hijo del Fantasma vs. Naomichi Marufuji and Taiji Ishimori vs. Laredo Kid and Garza Jr.

There will be Impact Wrestling TV tapings after the PPV from Monday, July 3 through Thursday, July 6.

The next tapings after that will be Thursday, August 17th – Sunday, August 20th. The August 17 show will air “live” (likely taped a couple of hours before, like previous “live” shows).
