My favourite match in 2002 is actually from their second ever PPV show on June 26th 2002 and it establishes several things that are going to become themes here as we go through the years: Stupidly fast action and AJ Styles. This one has a kind of silly gimmick of being double elimination, but it doesn’t take away from the action as the first X-Division champion is crowned.

The first TNA PPV was kind of hilariously bad with things like CHEEX, but this match really got people talking.
