A Kickoff Show match was also announced today between Aiden English and Tye Dillinger, who also wrestled in a Kickoff Show match at Backlash in May, with Dillinger winning.
On SmackDown tonight, they also hinted that the mystery of Breezango’s attackers would be revealed at Backlash, with them getting a note in the mail that just said “Battlground.” So that might either be another match or just a backstage segment.
Update: Mike Kanellis vs. Sami Zayn has also been added to the main card.
