GFW/Impact News: GFW Name Clarification, Jarrett Happy, Borash Injury

For some clarification on the whole GFW/Impact naming thing, PWInsider says that they interviewed Jeff Jarrett on Saturday and he clarified that the name of the promotion would be GFW, but that the name of the weekly TV show would be called “Impact.” So it’ll be “GFW Impact” (like WWE Raw). The logo says “GFW Impact Wrestling” though, so I’m not sure if it’s just “GFW Impact” or “GFW Impact Wrestling.” Annoyed…

Jeff Jarrett was “happy as a pig in sh*t” before the Slammiversary PPV and “happier beyond belief” after the show, according to PWInsider.

Jeremy Borash had “25-35 puncture wounds” on his hands after hitting a top rope splash and landing on thumbtacks in his match last night, according to PWInsider. He received medical attention and had to get his hands taped up after the match.

He and Josh Mathews will be back on commentary at the Impact tapings starting tonight.
