Dolph Ziggler’s Brother Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison

Dolph Ziggler’s brother, Donald Nemeth, was recently sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty last month to involuntary manslaughter, aggravated robbery and kidnapping charges related to a botched burglary incident in January 2016. The incident lead to the death of one person and Nemeth avoided the possibility of life in prison in exchange for pleading guilty to lesser charges.

According to prosecutors, Nemeth attempted to rob Joseph Mascol during a supposed drug deal at a Cleveland hotel resulting in Nemeth pulling out a gun and shooting Mascol three times. Nemteh was originally charged with aggravated murder which carried a possible life time sentence but agreed to a plea deal in exchange for lesser charges. Prosecutor had also charged another man for his role in the burglary attempt and murder.

Ziggler’s absence in recent weeks for Smackdown was due to him being given time off by WWE to deal with family issues related to this trial. Ziggler made his return to Smackdown last Tuesday making fun of other wrestlers and hinting at a new direction for his heel character.
