Former Ring of Honor head booker and head of EVOLVE, Gabe Sapolsky, is receiving a tryout for WWE as part of NXT’s creative team.
Drew McIntyre revealed that he’s been working with Sapolsky in NXT on a recent episode of X-Pac’s podcast.
PWInsider is reporting that Sapolsky was at the last NXT TV tapings and he appears to be in the midst of an NXT tryout.
He was the acclaimed head of ROH’s creative team during their rise in the 2000s, then went on to start EVOLVE (and then World Wrestling Network), which has an unofficial affiliation with WWE.
