Fightful is reporting that Ronda Rousey has expressed interest in wrestling and was referred by WWE to Brian Kendrick for training. Ronda has already done some basic training, taking bumps, etc. and is expected to train some more soon.
She made an appearance along with some of her fellow MMA friends at the Mae Young Classic tapings last month. Shayna Baszler is wrestling in the Mae Young Classic and her friend Marina Shafir is engaged to NXT’s Roderick Strong.
WWE had been rumored to be trying to get Ronda Rousey involved in a match a couple of years ago while she was at the height of her popularity, but the most that happened were appearances at WrestleMania 31 and SummerSlam 2014.
