Shelton Benjamin is in New York City, according to PWInsider. Tonight’s Raw and tomorrow’s SmackDown are in Brooklyn.
It was reported a few days ago that Benjamin has officially signed with WWE, so his debut is likely imminent, though obviously him being in town doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be on TV.
WWE attempted to sign him last year and even ran promos for him on the SmackDown brand after the brand split, but before he officially signed, it was discovered that he had a torn rotator cuff, which required surgery to repair and kept him out for several months. Since he was originally slated to be part of SmackDown, the expectation and rumors have been that that’s also where he’ll end up this time around.
