Chris Jericho was interviewed by Ring Rust Radio and talked about not liking the new season of Southpaw Regional Wrestling as much as the original.
I would love to see a few more. I don’t know if it really took off virally like they thought it would. I’m not sure exactly the numbers on that but it was a lot of fun when we did it and hopefully we get to do more, but I think a lot of times the initial one is the best because it’s such a surprise and no one really knows what they’re getting into. Where as the second one, everybody wanted to get involved and some of the characters weren’t as strong.
I think Miz’s guy was terrible, whatever it was called. Dung. I just thought that was terrible, it wasn’t funny. I thought the butcher guys weren’t funny whereas the first one everyone was funny because no one was really trying… just being whatever they wanted to be. It’s like a sequel to a movie, when you stumble onto something, it’s never as good as the original.
If they do more, I’m sure Clint Bobski will be there. If they don’t, it was a lot of fun while it lasted.
