Impact Wrestling announced today that it has terminated its business relationship with Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Entertainment Inc., effective immediately.

In early September, Impact announced that Jarrett was taking an “indefinite leave of absence” to “focus on personal matters.” Reports were that Impact head Ed Nordholm was unhappy with Jarrett’s alleged “erratic behavior” (more info available at the link). Nordholm said in interviews last month that he was “hopeful that Jeff isn’t gone long,” but it appears to now be permanent.
Impact also said that they’re ending their relationship with “Global Force Entertainment,” which confirms that the GFW rebrand and merger is officially no more. Jeff Jarrett still owns GFW and the merger was never actually completed when Impact decided to rebrand this summer. They’re now back to being called “Impact Wrestling” or just “IMPACT” or sometimes “IMPACT!” with an exclamation point.
They’ve removed GFW branding from their website, social media accounts, championships and logo.
