SmackDown Dark Matches
There were two dark matches at tonight’s SmackDown:
Before SmackDown: Tye Dillinger, Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin defeated Mike Kanellis and The Colons (Tye Dillinger pinned Primo via Tye Breaker)
After 205 Live: AJ Styles defeated Jinder Mahal in a non-title match via the Phenomenal Forearm
Tom Phillips
Tom Phillips was replaced by Michael Cole on SmackDown commentary tonight and the explanation given by Cole was that he would be filling in for the next “few weeks” while Tom Phillips is “on assignment.” No further info is available for now…
Jinder Mahal vs. Brock Lesnar
The Jinder vs. Lesnar rumors for Survivor Series are true. Jinder issued a challenge to Lesnar tonight on SmackDown, and Lesnar and Paul Heyman will respond on Raw.

On the SmackDown side, AJ Styles appears to be next in line to feud with Jinder after interrupting his promo tonight. Styles will face Sunil Singh next week on SmackDown. It seems unlikely that Styles will win the title before Survivor Series if WWE is doing a champion vs. champion match though.
Shane McMahon’s Return
Daniel Bryan announced on SmackDown that Shane McMahon will return next week on SmackDown for the first time since Hell in a Cell.
Drew Gulak at TLC
On 205 Live, it was announced that Drew Gulak will give a “championship edition” PowerPoint presentation at the TLC PPV this Sunday on the Kickoff Show.
