Last night’s SmackDown Live drew 2,320,000 viewers, down from last week’s 2,467,000 viewers.
That’s the lowest number since June 13 (2,072,000).
There was a lot of sports competition with opening night of the NBA season and an MLB playoff game going head to head with SmackDown. Celtics/Cavs on TNT drew 5,598,000 viewers and Dogers/Cubs on TBS drew 6,008,000.
SmackDown dropped to #9 on cable for the night in the 18-49 demographic.
This time last year, the October 18, 2016 episode of SmackDown Live drew 2,405,000 viewers.
Monday’s Raw drew an average of 2,688,000 viewers.
