FloSlam, which launched in October of 2016 and streamed various WWN/EVOLVE shows (among other indie wrestling companies), has been shut down by FloSports, according to PWInsider. The staff has officially been laid off, though the website and social media accounts still appear to be up, with no message about its shut down.
FloSports had big ambitions when it launched and it received over $21 million in funding (including from WWE), but it was never able to get any big deals (like ROH or NJPW) like it had hoped.
In September, it pulled all WWN/EVOLVE shows and threatened to sue, which was a move that signaled that they were having financial issues and it was the beginning of the end for the service that once hoped to compete with WWE Network.
