The Manchester Evening News held a recent interview with Sasha Banks answering several fan questions including her dream match with a WWE Legend, her best friends in the WWE, opinion on Ronda Rousey’s wrestling training, potential for a Women’s Royal Rumble match, and more.
When asked who she would want to wrestle as a dream match in the WWE, Banks listed several women WWE Legends as her dream opponents.
“There’s a lot. I’ll choose Trish Stratus, Mae Young, Jacquelyn, Jazz and Molly Holly.”
When asked who are her best friends in the company, Banks stated both Big E and Bayley.
“My best friend is Big E… and Bayley.”
When asked about her opinion on Ronda Rousey training for wrestling, Banks gave a mocking response towards Rousey.
“Ewww… Train hard, girl. That’s it. Bye! You’re not on my level. I know jiu-jitsu.”
On the potential of a Women’s Royal Rumble match in the future, Banks mentioned it would be an amazing moment for the WWE and they already have enough women wrestlers on the roster including NXT to make it possible.
“January’s coming up, [a women’s] Royal Rumble, that would be amazing! We have enough girls to do it if you bring up the NXT girls. You can bring back past girls, that would be awesome! That would be incredible, hopefully it happens.”
When asked if she would like a match against Stephanie McMahon, Banks stated she wants it to happen as a way to prove who is the real boss character of the WWE.
“I would love to wrestle Stephanie McMahon. I would love to let her know that I am the boss of the WWE. She can just be the Princess, I’m the true boss.”
Near the end of the interview, Banks was asked who from Smackdown she would pick to join the RAW brand. Banks picked AJ Styles between the choices of Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.
“I love my Shinsuke, but I love AJ Styles. He is legit phenomenal. I love picking his brain. Honestly, he’s the best in the world right now. He’s the greatest wrestler ever, I love him.”
