Impact Wrestling is reported to have changed their plans for this year’s Hall of Fame induction, according to PWInsider. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that early plans for this year’s inductee were for TNA co-founded Jerry Jarrett as the possible choice after Jeff Jarrett pushed for him to be inducted this year. Those plans were shelved after Jeff Jarrett’s firing from the company.
In regards to other possible names, James Storm denied rumors of him being a possible choice and said that he hasn’t been officially contacted nor is he aware of plans for him to be inducted this year.
The company has also decided to postpone the Hall of Fame induction to a later date instead of on November 4th. Impact originally planned for this year’s induction to occur at an official VIP fan event the day before Bound for Glory.
