Ford is suing John Cena for allegedly violating a contract with them. According to TMZ, Ford says that Cena bought a $500,000 2017 Ford GT from them after being “selected from thousands of applicants for the opportunity to purchase the Ford GT” and then re-sold the car at a “large profit.”
Ford says that Cena signed a contract with them saying that he would hold onto the car for at least 2 years, saying, “Mr. Cena has unfairly made a large profit from the unauthorized resale flip of the vehicle, and Ford has suffered additional damages and losses, including, but not limited to, loss of brand value, ambassador activity, and customer goodwill due to the improper sale.”
They’re seeking the profits that Cena made from the sale, plus “other damages.” Cena says that he sold the car in order to pay bills…
Here’s a video of Cena showing off the car for the “Auto Geek” show he does on the Bella Twins YouTube Channel.
