NJPW interviewed Chris Jericho in English after he flew into Japan over New Years and travelling to his hotel on their YouTube channel. In it Jericho touches on this being the first time he was on a plane as New Year rolled in so he would be refreshed and ready for January 4th and how it’s rare for someone like Kenny Omega to have that status in the wrestling world that he hasn’t wrestled. Jericho is also very clear that the Omega Vs. Alpha match is the main event.
