Samir Singh announced on Instagram that he suffered a torn ACL last week on SmackDown and apparently underwent surgery.
Last week on SmackDown, the Singh Brothers interfered during the Jinder Mahal vs. Bobby Roode, attacking Roode. When getting out of the ring, Samir landed awkwardly on his knee and had to be helped to the back by Sunil.
Samir was not on SmackDown this week, but Sunil did accompany Jinder Mahal during his match.
A torn ACL typically keeps wrestlers out for over 6 months, but it is possible that he could return sooner in a low or no-contact role.
