RAW 25th Anniversary Behind-the-Scenes Video

WWE uploaded a behind-the-scenes video from last week’s RAW 25th anniversary show on their official Youtube channel. The video is over 8 minutes in length and features both the Manhattan Center’s transformation for the show and interviews from several former and current WWE stars.

Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey (and not WWE) recently filed a trademark for the term “Rowdy Ronda Rousey.”

Reason Why WWE Used a Lot of Former Stars for the Women’s Royal Rumble Match

WWE is currently working on a new documentary about women’s wrestling, according to the Wrestling Observer.

WWE shot footage for the documentary during the Royal Rumble, featuring all the former women wrestlers.

WWE also reportedly currently has plans to focus more strongly on the women’s division for the Road to Wrestlemania 34 due to their now most mainstream star (Rousey) being a woman.

The Undertaker and Pat Patterson Among Those Backstage During the Royal Rumble

The Undertaker and Pat Patterson were among the notable people backstage during the Royal Rumble, according to PWInsider.

The Undertaker was backstage mainly to watch his wife Michelle McCool in the Women’s Royal Rumble and gave no indication of his status or plans for Wrestlemania 34. As the creator of the Royal Rumble match, Pat Patterson lent some of his expertise and advice for the layout of this year’s matches.

Other notable names backstage included Nikolai Volkoff, who was just visiting since he lives nearby in Baltimore and Paige who was backstage watching the event. WWE also brought several NXT stars backstage but some left after learning they were not needed for the night.
