Jim Cornette Says Sami Callihan Should’ve Been Fired Due to Bat Incident

Thursday’s Impact aired a match between Sami Callihan and Eddie Edwards, where Callihan placed a chair on top of Edwards, then carelessly hit it with a baseball bat, bouncing the bat off the chair right into Edwards’ face.

Edwards was hospitalized with “broken bones” in his face.

Impact is turning this into an angle, though, with Callihan being interviewed by TMZ while in character, saying that he has no remorse for what he did to Edwards.
