WWE has “offered spots in Orlando” starting in May to incredible indie wrestling superstars Keith Lee and WALTER, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Keith Lee
Keith Lee is currently the WWN Champion in EVOLVE and is one of the best wrestlers I have ever seen, putting on consistently incredible matches. He is so good…
Keith Lee is signed to a contract with WWN/EVOLVE, so if he was to sign with WWE, would require the approval of WWN head Gabe Sapolsky. Sapolsky just recently was hired by WWE to work with NXT and EVOLVE has been seen as an unofficial farm system for WWE for a while.
The belief is that Lee will take the spot because he has turned down dates after May, according to Dave Meltzer.
For what it’s worth, Lee posted this on Twitter:
In today's play, the Dragon will be playing the role of "The Rumor Mill."
I will be playing the role of "The Knight." pic.twitter.com/zAAbpszoPv

WALTER
Walter’s status is less clear, according to Meltzer. In the past, he has said that he isn’t interested in WWE because he’s currently employed by wXw in Germany and runs their school and likes his life and doesn’t want to move from Germany.
Walter has a good look and has also put on consistently excellent matches.
On Twitter, Walter denied the report saying that he hasn’t been offered anything.
Nobody offered anything, not true! https://t.co/kchPGVxncI
