WWE announced that the remaining two MMA “Four Horsewomen,” Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir have reported to the WWE Performance Center. They join the other two “Horsewomen,” Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler in making a move from MMA to WWE.
During the Mae Young Classic last year, WWE teased a WWE vs. MMA Four Horsewomen feud, where the MMA women would face off with Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks. WWE seemed to at least temporarily shelf those plans, but we’ll see if they go back to that down the line now that Duke and Shafir are at the Performance Center.
Marina Shafir is also currently engaged to NXT’s Roderick Strong and has been involved in an NXT storyline where Bobby Roode insulted her during his feud with Strong.
