Indie superstar Keith Lee appeared in the crowd at NXT TakeOver: Chicago II tonight, confirming that he has signed with WWE and will be debuting for NXT soon.
Lee was introduced as a “former WWN Champion,” which was a title that he held until recently for EVOLVE. Lee was introduced before the NXT Championship match and the commentators said that he would be watching the match closely, which is a good sign for NXT’s plans for Lee.
Lee dropped both the WWN and PWG championships recently and said his goodbyes to those promotions last month, so it was well-known that he was WWE-bound.
