The PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, which is the site of Extreme Rules on July 15, is currently advertising a steel cage match between Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens at the PPV.
Obviously, WWE hasn’t announced that match yet and plans could change, but a Strowman vs. Owens match seems like the direction where WWE is headed.
Another unannounced match that’s listed on the venue website is Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship. Their match ended in a DQ last night on Raw after Drew McIntyre got involved, so the feud does appear to be “unfinished.”
The website is still listing the six man main event match, which was called off last night.
So here’s the rumored Extreme Rules card for now:
WWE Championship: AJ Styles (c) vs. Rusev
Raw Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Nia Jax
Raw Tag Team Championship: Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt (c) vs. The B-Team
Bobby Lashley vs. Roman Reigns (unconfirmed)
Steel Cage Match: Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens (unconfirmed)
Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Seth Rollins (unconfirmed)
