Homicide and Hernandez In Action

IMPACT Wrestling opens with the OGz, Homicide and Hernandez, in tag team action. They make quick work of some local talent before King gets on the mic. He says the reason he took out Konnan was because he wanted to run LAX and he was tired of waiting! King insists that Konnan didn’t give the same opportunities to Homicide and Hernandez as he did to Santana and Ortiz, and that’s why they’ve sided with him. King throws out the challenge for a 5150 Street Fight between LAX and the OGz at Slammiversary! Will LAX accept?


Backstage: Shotzi Blackheart

Backstage, Alicia Atout interviews Shotzi Blackheart from the Rise promotion as she prepares to make her IMPACT Wrestling debut against Allie tonight!


oVe Cam: Sami Callihan

We see footage from the oVe cam, where Sami Callihan declares he will defeat Pentagon in the Hair vs Mask match at Slammiversary, July 22nd on pay-per-view!


Shotzi Blackheart vs. Allie

Shotzi and Allie exchange chops in the middle of the ring with Allie getting the upper-hand. Allie hits her signature running forearm to gain momentum. Allie charges into the corner but Shotzi avoids her and connects with a rolling senton. Allie hits a release German suplex for a near fall! Shotzi misses a top rope maneuver, allowing Allie to hit the Codebreaker for the win!

Winner: Allie

After the match, Tessa Blanchard attacks Allie on the ramp! Tessa lays out Allie with the hammerlock DDT and stands tall.


Backstage: Grado, Eli Drake

Backstage, Grado introduces his girlfriend, Katarina and best friend, Joe Hendry to Eli Drake but he only seems to be interested in Katarina!


Backstage: Tessa Blanchard

Tessa Blanchard says she attacked Allie because she stopped her from settling things with Madison Rayne. Tessa says that doing the right thing was the wrong thing for Allie!


Video Recap: Tommy Dreamer and Eddie Edwards

We see a video package highlighting the violent rivalry between Eddie Edwards and Tommy Dreamer! They’ll do battle in a House of Hardcore rules match July 22nd at Slammiversary!


In-Ring: D’Angelo Williams, Austin Aries

Josh Mathews is in the ring to introduce NFL star D’Angelo Williams as he gives us an update on Moose’s Slammiversary training. Williams says Moose has dropped weight, put on muscle and he’s ready to take the world title away from Austin Aries! Speaking of the champ, he interrupts Williams and comes down to the ring. Aries mocks Williams about not currently being signed to an NFL team and how he’s involved with pro wrestling to stay relevant. Aries says he has a message he wants Williams to give to Moose and hits him with a cheap shot! Aries swings and misses with a steel chair but regains control with a low blow. The second time’s the charm as Aries hits Williams in the back with the chair, laying him out in the middle of the ring.


Backstage: KM, Fallah Baah, Desi Hit Squad

Backstage, KM and Fallah Bahh are back on the same page. Gama Singh and the Desi Hit Squad interrupt and insult them! Gama says Fallah can’t control what goes in his mouth and KM can’t control what comes out of it! KM implies they’re ready for a fight at anytime…


Eli Drake vs. Grado w/ Katarina & Joe Hendry

Drake attacks Grado from behind before the match begins to gain the early advantage! Drake connects with a swinging neckbreaker. Grado hits a top rope Hurricanrana, followed by a big back body drop. Drake cuts off Grado with a clothesline, followed by the Gravy Train to win.

Winner: Eli Drake

After the match, Eli Drake tries to persuade Katarina to change her mind about him but Joe Hendry comes to her defense


Backstage: Killer Kross

Killer Kross warns Petey Williams that he’s going to pay for interjecting himself into his business last week.


Backstage: Matt Sydal

Backstage, Alicia Atout interviews X-Division champion Matt Sydal about his title defence against Brian Cage at Slammiversary. Sydal says Cage is foolish to think that size matters. Sydal says his mental and spiritual advantage will be what wins him the match on July 22nd.


Moose calls in and says he’s going to be here next week to get revenge on Aries for what he did to D’Angelo Williams earlier tonight!


Backstage: Madison Rayne, Su Yung

Alicia Atout conducts a sitdown interview with Madison Rayne as she prepares to challenge Su Yung for the Knockouts Championship at Slammiversary, July 22nd on pay-per-view! During the interview, Madison starts hearing voices and it becomes clear that Su Yung is playing mind games with her!


Sami Callihan & oVe (Jake & Dave Crist) vs. Pentagon Jr, Fenix & Rich Swann – Six Man Tag Team Lucha Rules Match

Lucha Rules means there are no tags and everyone is legal. The match begins with a huge flurry of superkicks between everyone! Swann dives over the top rope, taking out Dave and Callihan on the outside. Fenix hits a springboard corkscrew to the outside, taking out everyone! Callihan hits Swann with a suplex off the top rope, into everyone on the floor! There’s a huge Tower of Doom with Jake getting the best of it as he connects with a sit-down powerbomb on Fenix for a near fall! Fenix hits a springboard Swanton on Jake but gets taken out with the Square and Compass DDT from Dave. Callihan hits Swann with a devastating piledriver but Pentagon breaks up the pin attempt! Pentagon and Fenix connect with the double team Fear Factor piledriver on Callihan but he still kicks out! Pentagon hits Jake with a package piledriver on the apron! Callihan connects with Get Out of Here on Swann to pick up the victory after an amazing back and forth contest!

Backstage: Madison Rayne, Su Yung

We return to Madison Rayne as she continues to experience the mind games being played by Su Yung. Madison follows Su to a dark forest where she’s surrounded by the undead bridesmaids. They quickly disappear but then, Su appears behind her and tells Madison her time has come!


Next week, it’s the last stop on the road to Slammiversary! Who will gain momentum heading into IMPACT Wrestling’s biggest event of the summer?
