Lars Sullivan’s “broken jaw” is not legit and is just a storyline, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
WWE claimed that Sullivan suffered a broken jaw during his match against Aleister Black at TakeOver: Chicago last month, saying that the injury happened halfway through the match but he still wrestled through it.
That appears to just be a storyline to make Sullivan look tough and protect his mystique after suffering his first singles loss in NXT. He will be kept off of NXT shows for a while to sell the injury as legit, according to Dave Meltzer.
