Neville is no longer under contract with WWE, according to a report by Pro Wrestling Sheet, citing a “source with direct knowledge of the situation.”
They added that details are still scarce and there’s no word on when Neville and WWE officially parted ways. WWE typically has a 90-day non-compete clause.
Neville walked out of WWE in October 2017, but WWE had refused to grant him his release, preventing him from working elsewhere. WWE was also able to freeze his contract while he wasn’t performing, preventing it from expiring and technically keeping him trapped indefinitely. More details about how he was finally freed should hopefully come out soon.
Me too. I talked to him the other day. He’s good.
