Roman Reigns Is #1 Merchandise Seller in WWE, Overtaking John Cena

With John Cena being gone for a while, Roman Reigns has now overtaken him as number one in merchandise sales in WWE, according to the Wrestling Observer newsletter.

This is obviously one of the main reasons why WWE is still very high on Reigns despite the crowd reactions. It’s a similar situation to when John Cena was getting massively booed as the top face, but was still selling tons of merchandise and outdrawing everyone at house shows, probably leading to Vince McMahon ignoring when the top face is booed.

It’s also been mentioned in the past that despite people on the internet hating him, Reigns is still very popular with kids.
