The current plan for the October 28 WWE Evolution PPV main event is Ronda Rousey vs. Nikki Bella, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
The thought within WWE is that Rousey and Nikki Bella are WWE’s two biggest mainstream stars and having them headline the show will bring in a lot of mainstream press and attention.
As always, plans could change, and there have been other ideas thrown around, Meltzer says.
Michelle McCool
There was reportedly a graphic shown on the screen last night at TakeOver advertising that Michelle McCool would be at the Evolution PPV, according to PWInsider.
Card
Also announced for the show yesterday was Trish Stratus vs. Alexa Bliss.
Every women’s championship, including NXT and NXT UK will also be defended.
And the finals of the Mae Young Classic will happen on the show.
