WWE has hired James Long, who was the top producer for Impact in charge of all of their taped and live promos and vignettes, and their top video editor, according to PWInsider.
Long was hired to be part of NXT and has already been working with the brand for several weeks.
Long was involved in all facets of Impact’s production including graphics, video packages and their production in general, PWInsider says.
He was also very closely involved with the “Broken Universe” content and videos from the Hardys’ time at Impact, along with Jeremy Borash. Borash was also hired away by WWE in January of this year and is also working in NXT.
Long had been with Impact since July 2014. He also wrestles independently as Paredyse and was ranked the #359 singles wrestler by Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 2011.
