WWE officially announced that their next show in Saudi Arabia will be called “Crown Jewel” and will take place on Friday, November 2 at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It will stream live on WWE Network. An official time hasn’t been announced yet, but the Greatest Royal Rumble aired at 12 PM ET.
A triple threat match for the Universal Championship between Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar has already been announced for the show. Also announced is “the first-ever WWE World Cup tournament to determine the best in the world.”
This is the second show in Saudi Arabia as part of WWE’s ten year deal with the dystopian monarchy, where WWE is paid millions of dollars per show in exchange for making the ultra-conservative totalitarian kingdom, where protesting is punishable by death, seem “modern” and progressive.
Women will almost certainly also not be allowed at the show again, and WWE will run this show on the same week as their all-women Evolution PPV, which is scheduled for October 28.
