WWE announced that season two of Mixed Match Challenge is returning this month, on Tuesday, September 18 at 10 PM ET, following SmackDown. Like the first season, it will air on Facebook Watch.
Unlike the first season’s elimination tournament, this season will be a round robin tournament, where each team will face every other team and the winner will presumably be the team with the best win/loss record at the end.
There will be 14 episodes, each 30 minutes long, and each episode will have two matches this season. WWE also said that the “finale will take place during WWE’s TLC pay-per-view event on Sunday, December 16.”
Here are the 10 teams:
– Alexa Bliss & Braun Strowman
– Sasha Banks & Bobby Lashley
– Bayley & Finn Balor
– Alicia Fox & Jinder Mahal
– Natalya & Kevin Owens
– Asuka & The Miz (winners of season 1)
– Naomi & Jimmy Uso
– Lana & Rusev
– Charlotte Flair & AJ Styles
– Carmella & R-Truth
