WWE may be adding more on-air manager roles soon, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The “anti-manager sentiment” that Vince McMahon has had for a long time appears to have dissipated recently, and WWE has recently added Drake Maverick alongside the Authors of Pain and now apparently Lio Rush alongside Bobby Lashley.
There has also been talk within WWE about bringing in managers from the indies for future roles, on top of people they already have under contract.
