Why James Ellsworth Was Backstage at SmackDown
As mentioned, James Ellsworth was backstage at SmackDown yesterday. He didn’t appear on the show, but he was reportedly being interviewed for something related to WWE’s women wrestlers, according to PWInsider. No word on exactly what it was, but it’s possible it was for something on the Evolution PPV, or it could have been some other WWE Network special.
Nia Jax
Nia Jax was at the WWE Performance Center this week doing physical therapy on her leg, which has been giving her issues, according to PWInsider.
She was last on WWE TV at Extreme Rules on July 15, where she lost to Alexa Bliss.
The Miz Throws First Pitch
The Miz threw out the first pitch at the KC Royals vs. Cleveland Indians game today. The Indians beat the Royals 3-1.
Today’s first pitch is dedicated to my daughter @MonroeMizanin as Roger Dorn would say “Strike this moth…oh wait, no more swearing. Let’s put it this way only a strike will do. Oh and no pressure @CKluber pitching today. LETS GO @Indians pic.twitter.com/lDUcGXWSk6

After the game a bunch of the old timers said my first pitch reminded them of Bob Feller….I wonder why. I think I did @MonroeMizanin proud. #DadLife #RallyTogether @mlb @indians pic.twitter.com/78xffiP8WT
