Chris Jericho appeared at today’s New Japan Pro-Wrestling King of Pro-Wrestling show in Tokyo, likely setting up his first IWGP Intercontinental Championship title defense.
Jericho attacked EVIL, who was scheduled to face Zack Sabre Jr. Jericho dressed up as one of EVIL’s masked druids and attacked him during his entrance, pounding on him, then giving him a codebreaker, then unmasking himself, then hitting him with the title belt.
Jericho last appeared in NJPW at NJPW Dominion in June, where he defeated Tetsuya Naito to win the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.
