This is just a rumor that’s been going around, so take it with a grain of salt as of now.
Robbie Fox from Barstool Sports posted this on Twitter today:
WWE Crown Jewel could be in trouble.
I was just told Reigns is currently injured and that Cena and Bryan are "refusing" to work the show. Many on the current WWE roster have expressed concerned with going, as well, but obviously not all of them have the power like Cena/Bryan.

Fox is not the most-cited wrestling reporter, but he has been right about a few things in the past.
Adding to this rumor’s credibility is Dave Meltzer, who reported today that “there is word going around that John Cena will be replaced in the World Cup.” WWE did not announce anything about it tonight on Raw, though, so it remains to be seen if there’s anything to this rumor.
Another interesting note is that tickets for Crown Jewel were supposed to go on sale in Saudi Arabia on Friday, but they did not. According to Dave Meltzer, the website handling the ticket sales told people who asked that WWE has still not confirmed with them that the show will go on…
