WWE announced that Tye Dillinger is injured and will require surgery. In the video below, Mike Rome announced, “Last night at a WWE live event in Macon, GA, we learned that Tye Dillinger sustained an injury to his hand and unfortunately is gonna require surgery. Therefore, he is unable to compete tonight.”
Dillinger was originally scheduled to face Shinsuke Nakamura for the US title tonight on SmackDown, but that match was changed to Nakamura vs. R-Truth in a non-title match. No word on how long Dillinger will be out yet.
