WWE: Hardy Broken Universe Special Taping This Week, Raw Preview

As mentioned, WWE is working on a pilot for a Matt Hardy / Broken Universe “sitcom.” The pilot will apparently be a “Halloween special” so it will probably air some time in the next month or so.

WWE cameras were at the “Hardy compound” in Cameron, NC last week and will be returning this week to complete shooting the special/pilot, according to PWInsider.

Most people will be glad to hear that the creative direction of the show will be basically controlled by Matt Hardy and others who did the Broken Universe segments when the Hardys were in Impact. The “Woken Matt Hardy” stuff in WWE was mostly dictated by WWE’s creative team and it obviously showed with how much of a flop it was.

There was some flooding at the Hardy compound from the hurricane last month, which almost lead to some issues with the shooting of the special, but they were able to work things out, PWInsider says.
