Despite WWE saying that she has a “broken face,” Becky Lynch in fact just has a broken nose, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
However, she does legitimately have a concussion, which is the main reason that she wasn’t cleared for Survivor Series. According to Meltzer, if it was only a broken nose, she probably would have been able to wrestle through it.
This seems like a good sign and likely means that Becky should be able to return once she’s cleared from the concussion. A “broken face” or something like a broken orbital bone would likely have kept her out for months.
WrestleMania
Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey will now “probably” happen at WrestleMania and will likely either be the main event or co-main event, Dave Meltzer added.
The expectation and plan was originally for Rousey to face Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania, but that match will now happen at Survivor Series. Rousey vs. Becky would obviously be the hotter match (assuming Becky stays as hot as she is now), especially more so than a Rousey vs. Charlotte rematch.
